White Settlement Settler’s Day - This coming Saturday, October 24th our church will be joining with the City of White Settlement for the Settler’s Day Festival. This will be an evangelistic/outreach opportunity for us, as well as a time just to meet some people in the community. We will be manning a booth for the day and need people to sign up to fill the hours 9am – 5pm.  We need you to let us know soon if you can be a part of this opportunity. Please call or email Pastor Greg. We need at least two “responsible” people (adults or older teens) to man the booth throughout the day.

Pregnancy Help Center Annual Banquet - This year the PHC will have their annual banquet at the new Dallas Cowboy stadium. Information is on the bulletin board in the hall. If you cannot attend, or the price is just too high, but you would like to give to support the cause of the PHC, you can make a check out to the church and the church will give the offering collected to them in November.

 Food Pantry  - We have begun the mission of restocking our church food pantry and would like the congregation’s help in signing up for food items. As a reminder, if you or your family are in need of assistance with food or groceries please see one of the deacons so we may have the opportunity to be a help. Supplies permitting, we will distribute food to our community on November 18th. Please see the sign up sheet on the front shelf in the foyer.

Church Camping Trip with Rock Creek Baptist Church - We have been invited to join our friends at Rock Creek Baptist Church on a camp out in October on the 29th – 31st. Let Pastor Greg know if you would like to participate.

Nursing Home Services - Remember that we have two nursing home services this Sunday at 3pm. We would encourage you to participate as a family in one of these. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Christ with some precious people in need of the love of Christ.
